Trade and Technology

Trade and technology, as we know that the trade was a big influence in the economy. It could even be said that the key to improving the economy, without trade we can not get the products we need. And to get it we have to do the selling. So how can we find / get the things we want with ease?

Technology, with the help of technology we can
find the things we want. And this is very useful to
the consumer in order goods. Examples of online
trading, with online trading we can easily find the
things we want without having to shop. Not only
useful for consumers, producers also benefit from
this technology.

Benefit producers, one of them in terms of
marketing. With the manufacturers internet
marketing could easily do without the considerable cost, and manufacturers can easily introduce their products. Not just marketing, technology also makes it easy in terms of delivery of goods and earn money, with technology buyers just simply transfer their money through internet banking.

For businesses selling appropriate products and services, an online store can provide significant benefits in improved sales and marketing opportunities.

Selling through an online store, either alongside a conventional business or on a standalone eCommerce basis can offer several benefits:
  • Reduced overheads ñ in general, an online shop costs less to set up and run than a physical store, although it's important to recognise that making eCommerce work requires continuing investment.
  • Lower marketing costs with better targeting: online promotion can be more precisely aimed at potential customers than using conventional media. It's also much cheaper, for example, to send a marketing message by e-mail to 1,000 customers than it is to send 1,000 newsletters by post.
  • Expanded geographical reach: a local business can become nationwide or even international, just through having an effective eCommerce strategy. Bear in mind that if you do sell outside the UK, you'll need to comply with regulations and understand tax and import/export issues.
  • Being open for business 24/7: with automated order and payment processing, sales can be made at any time, and customers can buy when it suits them.
  • Greater flexibility: an online store can be updated instantly and as often as you like ñ for example, to promote a 'deal of the day' on your front page, without the need for expensive printed display material.
  • Broader potential customer base: an eCommerce business is an additional buying channel, capable of attracting customers who have not bought before.
  • Improved customer profiling, with the opportunity to target products and services at specific groups based on buying data.
